The college was established for the welfare of the weakest section of the nation, i.e., the rural population. It is a pioneer Ayurvedic college in Haryana to initiate Ayurvedic education. The college is approved by CCIM and the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, New Delhi.
It is one of the reputed institutes in India offering the undergraduate course Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS). The college currently has an intake capacity of 100 seats in the undergraduate (BAMS) course and has also expanded its academic horizon by introducing postgraduate courses in 7 different subjects with a total intake of 35 seats.
The college has earned its reputation due to its well-equipped hospital with a central laboratory, pharmacy, herbal garden, well-stocked library, and a team of dedicated and experienced faculty members. The institution presently has 14 departments contributing to quality education, research, and healthcare services.
